Accounts Apprentice

As an Accounts Apprentice at Group 1 Automotive you will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting brand whilst learning the skills needed to start your career in finance.
What you will be doing?
Working within a large Finance Team providing accounts support for a Brand of vehicles
Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
Completing daily and month bank reconciliations
Keeping records accurate and up to date
Ensuring customers pay on time and chase them for overdue invoices
Processing payments
Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties

A hard-working professional with the desire to maintain and improve upon high standards
You will be professional with the ability to deal with challenging situations
Have an accurate and methodical approach to work
Will be able to meet deadlines and prioritise work
A good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office is essential
Previous experience of working in a finance role is not essential for this position.
