Bodyshop Parts Advisor – BMW Bedford

Working in our parts department as a Parts Advisor you will be a key part of the Retail Centre. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills to deal with customers face to face or over the phone, providing an outstanding customer service to all customers.

What you’ll do day to day
- Receive, log, and accurately allocate parts and consumables from suppliers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Recommend suitable parts based on customer requirements with expert knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the system.
- Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to all parts department procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Submit invoices to insurance companies and ensure timely debt collection.
- Accurately verify and store all parts, and cross-check supplier invoices against WIPs.
- Assist with vehicle collection from local customers when needed.
- Maintain consistent communication with approved repairers and ensure final quality checks on all completed vehicles.

- Strong ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Exceptional time management and ability to stay organised under pressure.
- Proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and web-based platforms.
- Methodical and logical approach to work, especially during busy periods.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
