Working with world-class brands as a Marketing Executive you’ll be supporting the Group Marketing Manager in delivering the brand experience whilst maximising sales and profit opportunities through the delivery of divisional and local marketing activity. To always exceed customer expectations and to support the Retail Centres in ensuring that all standards and processes are adhered to in line with brand contract arrangements.

What you’ll do day to day

  • To provide support to the Group Marketing Manager in delivering an easy, effective and enjoyable customer journey.
  • Help devise and implement the Group 1 Automotive and OEM quarterly marketing plans across all marketing channels, working in conjunction with the DMM, Franchise Director and Divisional team.
  • Identify marketing opportunities to support the business in driving growth in all departments and carryout effective campaign measurement.
  • Champion the internal websites ensuring regular offer and content review and provide CMS support.
  • Deliver against the agreed KPI’s (focused on traffic, leads, CPL/CPO & other key metrics).
  • Support the dealers with implementing local marketing initiatives and events where required and raising their profile within market areas.
  • Drive best practice and reduce the span of performance in all areas relating to marketing.
  • Work closely with other Marketing colleagues to deliver high standards, greater efficiencies and projects that will benefit the business group wide.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, working closely with our OEM partners, agencies and internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all Manufacturer CI and Consumer Credit Regulations, current legislation & Trading Standards policies.
  • Work with CRM manager to manage customer journey and data handling in compliance with GDPR regulations.
  • Regular competitor and market area analysis.

  • Proven experience with delivering marketing plans and campaigns.
  • An interest in automotive
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead when required
  • An understanding of the importance of exceptional customer experience
  • Meticulous eye for detail.
  • Proficient with IT programmes such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Confident and professional communication skills.
