What you’ll do day to day

  • Lead, support and develop the People Admin & Onboarding Team, including monthly reviews and performance management
  • Manage onboarding processes to ensure they are engaging, consistent, and aligned with business goals
  • Continuously enhance the onboarding experience using feedback, automation and process optimisation
  • Oversee accurate and compliant people data and drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Track, analyse and report on key HR metrics to support performance improvement
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for complex HR queries
  • Promote customer-first thinking and inspire the team to deliver outstanding support to colleagues
  • Build a diverse talent pipeline within People Admin and ensure strong succession planning
  • Collaborate with the People Services Leadership Team to align services with business needs and increase operational efficiency
  • Review and improve existing workflows, driving self-service and better colleague experience

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team
  • Detailed understanding of the onboarding and new starter process
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong organisation and time management abilities under pressure
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on innovation and problem solving
  • Adaptability to evolving priorities and business needs
  • A CIPD or equivalent HR qualification is desirable
