Shortlisted applicants would be required to attend our Assessment Centre on Wednesday 24th September, 10am at our head office in Maidstone. Applications will close on Wednesday 17th September and invites sent to those selected for attendance.

What you’ll do day to day
The Accounts Apprentice role is diverse, combining behind-the-scenes clerical support for the Finance team with the opportunity to learn a wide range of Accounts Department duties, ensuring smooth operations during staff absences.
While working towards a Level 2 AAT Apprenticeship, you will gain the essential principles, practices, and skills needed for the role.
Every day is different within our Accounts Department, so you will have a varied role. Some of the day-to-day duties include:
Process and verify purchase/sales invoices and cash sales documentation.
Record and reconcile cash and bank receipts.
Prepare payments and maintain accurate/timely processing.
Proactively manage overdue accounts, implementing effective debt recovery procedures and following up with clients as needed.
Comply with the Motor Industry Code of Practice and “Treating Customers Fairly” principles.
Follow Health & Safety procedures and complete required training.
Maintain professionalism in appearance, conduct, and communication.
Keep work areas tidy and support a positive, team-focused environment.
Uphold company values, policies, and undertake other duties as required.
Other ad-hoc duties as required.
We can teach you all the points above, but ultimately, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our team and embark on an exciting career. You’ll have excellent earning and progression opportunities available to you upon completing your apprenticeship – a fully qualified Accounts Assistant!
Training provided:
Training will be delivered using a combination of virtual classroom and remote learning.
Our preferred training providers’ expert trainers will guide you through the training programme using a combination of e-learning, online classroom learning and practical application.
In the workplace, your personal, dedicated mentor will support your continued learning as you apply the skills and knowledge you have gained through the remote sessions.
This is a fully rounded training experience where you will build life skills that last and gain both Apprenticeship qualifications and brand certifications.
Qualifications received
On successful completion of this 11-13 month programme, you will receive a Level 2 AAT qualification
Following the completion of the Level 2, we will look to enrol you on a Level 3 AAT apprenticeship to continue your learning and development with us.
Helpful skills and qualifications

Competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and willingness to learn accounting software.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
