Head of Fleet - Toyota / Lexus
Field Based - UK

As our Head of Fleet, you’ll take the wheel in leading our divisional fleet teams across the UK - from Fleet Sales Executives (LBDMs) to our hub‑and‑spoke operational teams - driving performance, growth and excellence across every fleet channel. You’ll be responsible for delivering the division’s fleet performance to budget, ensuring day‑to‑day compliance with service level agreements, and keeping every stream - Lease Co, SME and Tactical - on track to achieve their P&L targets. You’ll unlock new opportunities with leasing companies, end‑user customers and tactical partners, always focused on operating efficiently, growing the business and delivering incredible customer service. And with your teams, you’ll build strong end‑user relationships to grow nominated business and create a fleet operation that truly leads the way.

What you’ll do day to day
- Lead divisional fleet teams including LBDMs, Fleet Hub and Fleet Admin to deliver high performance across all operational areas.
- Drive commercial performance across Lease Co, SME and Tactical channels to achieve budgeted P&L targets.
- Oversee day‑to‑day compliance, governance and control of fleet service level agreements across the division.
- Develop and deliver fleet strategies aligned with business plans, market trends and customer expectations.
- Produce regular reporting on fleet activity, performance, financial results and improvement opportunities.
- Strengthen relationships with leasing companies, FN50 partners, brokers and large end‑user customers.
- Support sites in achieving OEM contract objectives and maximising OEM scorecard performance.
- Lead and improve renewal programmes, pipeline planning and operational workflow to maximise efficiency.
- Build, develop and coach fleet teams through effective leadership, performance reviews and succession planning.
- Champion an inclusive, high‑performance culture across all fleet functions and sites.
- Promote strong health & safety standards, ensuring colleagues take ownership of their responsibilities.
- Anticipate and manage fleet‑related risks, including conducting due diligence on suppliers and partners.

- Proven leadership experience in fleet, automotive or a similar commercial environment
- Ability to analyse performance data, manage budgets and drive sustained commercial results
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across all levels of the business
- Ability to lead, coach and inspire multi‑site and multi‑discipline teams
- Excellent organisational and multi‑tasking skills
- A proactive, solution‑focused approach with strong decision‑making ability
- Confident with reporting systems and general business IT tools
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- A full UK driving licence is required for this field‑based role.
